Female Coach Mentor Program 2024:
This Female Coach Mentor Program is a fantastic initiative aimed at nurturing the coaching talents within our community, particularly young females aged 16 to 25 residing in the Canterbury Bankstown and Strathfield council areas. This program is designed to offer mentorship, training, and opportunities for personal and professional growth within the industry.
For Mentees: This program welcomes young females new to the world of coaching, offering them an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to grassroots teams. We are looking for candidates with a commitment to volunteer for a year with a team and a strong desire to improve their coaching abilities. This may also be someone who has coached MiniRoos/small sided football before, but is looking to branch into coaching 11 aside football.
For Mentors: If you have experienced coaches within your club who would like the opportunity to nurture and support the next generation of coaches, this is a chance for them to give back to the community. Being a mentor can help them develop their leadership and communication skills, as well as build a network in the coaching world. A mentee would be paired with a mentor for the 2024 winter season, where you would be expected to help guide and support your mentee as they provide coaching assistance to you and your team throughout the season.
