Foundation of Football Course:

The Foundation of Football is aimed at volunteer parents and coaches working with advanced beginner to competent level players or players aged up to approximately fifteen (15) years old. This course is a prerequisite for the Football Australia/AFC C Diploma.

Coaches will participate in practical sessions covering the basics of techniques as well as learning about basic playing principles of the game. The course is mostly practical and not graded, allowing the student to participate in the training sessions if they so choose. The course also promotes participating in group discussions with the goal of exchanging experiences.

When registering for any Football coaching course or workshop in Australia, you will need to access Football Australia's Learning Centre (etrainu) to enrol.

To access this platform you will need two things:

1.           A PlayFootball Account

2.           An active coach registration to your local club in PlayFootball OR an active registration as an “FC Coach” in PlayFootball via Canterbury Association Club.

Once you have obtained the above, then you should be able to access the site via logging in with your PlayFootball login details.

You can access etrainu below, or alternatively click on the course registration link you would like to register to, and this will take you to the login page and then the course page once you’ve logged in.

When on the login page, click on the “Learner: Football Account” button.
