Football Canterbury would like to inform all registered players in the Under 8 to Under 14 age groups in Winter 2026 of an opportunity to continue your footballing education in the off-season.
NOTE: This program is ONLY for players who played with a Football Canterbury club/team during the 2026 Winter competition season.
For many years, Football Canterbury has conducted the Striker School in the spring/summer and in 2025 we introduced the Keeper School which was fantastically received. Both are returning in Term 4 of the school year.
The 8-week program will be run as follows:
When: October 19 – December 7
Day: Monday’s
Age Groups: U8-U14 (must have played in these age groups in 2026 or be age eligible)
Times: Session 1 - U8-U10 – 5.45pm-6.45pm
CLOSED - Session 2 - U11-U14 – 7.00pm-8.00pm - Places are full for both striker and keeper
Venue: Rudd Park, Belfield
Cost: $200.00* (includes Striker School shirt)
* Does not include the PlayFootball admin fee (approximately $5)
Each session can have up to a maximum of 50 strikers and 10 keepers. Depending on interest the striker numbers may increase.
