Mini World Cup for Women and Girls

To celebrate one year to go until Australia hosts the 2023 Women’s World Cup, Football Canterbury will be hosting a mini World Cup for girls and women.

This free event is open to all women and girls aged five years and older, even if you have never played before.

It will be a round-robin style event with all teams playing a minimum of four games throughout the night. Games will be small-sided-football (5v5).

Players will have the opportunity to pick their teams on the night, giving all players the choice to play with their friends/teammates, or to make new friends on the night.

Queen Elizabeth Park will be the venue with Russell Lea FC hosting the event.

As well as the games, there will be music, giveaways, inflatable shooting targets, a canteen, and special guest appearances.
